Our Advanced Acting Class taught by professional agency-represented actor George Hawkins is for young talents aged 8-16.
Throughout the semester, kids will enhance their acting skills through in-depth character analysis, emotional connection techniques, and vocal work. Under the expert guidance of Mr. George, students will develop self-confidence and stage presence while working on short scenes and monologues.
As they collaborate to bring their performances to life, students will cultivate teamwork and communication abilities that will serve them well beyond the stage. To showcase their progress and achievements, students will entertain family and friends with a live performance of their scenes and monologues at the end of the semester.
To ensure an optimal learning experience, this class is recommended for children who have already taken beginning acting at RCAC and possess strong reading abilities. For those who have previously attended our Advanced Acting class, fear not! Our dedicated instructor will present fresh challenges ensuring that every student's experience is unique and fulfilling.
