Beginning Acting

Taught by Mr. George Hawkins, a talented and professional agency-represented actor. This course serves as an introduction to the exciting world of acting, providing youngsters a foundation in various acting techniques and building their self-confidence while having fun on stage.

Throughout the semester, students will partake in engaging activities such as improvisation, voice projection exercises, and character development tasks. Under the guidance of Mr. George, children will explore their imagination and creativity, while also learning essential skills like teamwork and active listening.

At the end of the semester, a special showcase event will be organized for parents to witness first-hand the progress their little stars have made. This memorable performance will demonstrate how our young actors have honed their skills and brought their own unique characters to life.

This class is highly recommended for any child who has not taken a prior acting class at RCAC.
